Missions/Missionaries:

God’s heart for evangelism is obviously seen as he asks us these questions  in

Romans 10:14:

“How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in?

And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard?

And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

International Missionaries supported by LCF:

Pastor Gustavo Rodriguez lives in Peru with his wife Jenny and three kids. They have a church in downtown Lima and their heart is to reach the lost. They minister in the Prisons, hospitals, streets and in the Jungles.

Marko & Pauline Hakkola (along with their children Jonah, Ciara, Eileigh and Allanah) are missionaries who have been living in Mali, West Africa since 2001. They are working alongside a team to facilitate Bible translation into two of the local languages. They spent most of 2003-04 in culture and language learning and personal ministry, 2005-06 in Bible storying ministry, and are now very much into translation work. This is a long- term mission which might take many years of prayer, hard  work and patience.

Rhoda Morrison lives in Cork where she works and ministers using a bus as a drop-in centre for the homeless. The work is to provide food and shelter and it is staffed by volunteers from different churches in Cork.

Jay and Donna Prasad (with their children Joshua and Jared) are missionaries with Oceania for Christ in Jay’s homeland of the Fiji Islands.  They live on the Main Island, but Jay’s work as an evangelist takes him primarily to the dozens of other islands of Fiji.  He also equips the pastors with much-needed Bible and ministry training.  Donna’s calling there is to be a mother to Joshua and Jared and to support her husband prayerfully while tending to the many practical details involved with his constant travels.

Jamie Bell is from Letterkenny and is part of Operation Mobilisation as a software engineer with the international co-ordinating team in Carlisle, UK. In this position he is a vital IT support to OM’s missionaries all over the world.

Mike and Aster Mullins (with their Matthew, Sarah, Jonathan, Joshua, Andrew, and Grace) have pioneered and lead Operation Mobilisation Ireland. They live in Lacken House Co. Roscommon and the work of OM has grown tremendously there at their new base.
