THE BIG RED BUS IN LETTERKENNY-- Kids ProgramsThis July, LCF partnered with Donnybrook Pentecostal Church (Cork), a short-term missions team from Florida (US) and Operation Mobilisation, to bring the “Big Red Bus” to Letterkenny for a time of community outreach. In the daytime, the bus travelled to different housing estates in the area, holding children’s activities such as games, crafts, puppet shows, Bible stories, music, and Gospel presentation. Below are some snapshots of the children’s activities.

THE BIG RED BUS IN LETTERKENNY--Outreach in Town CentreIn the evenings, the bus would be parked in town, where it was used as a place where passers-by could come inside for free tea, coffee, and conversation. The teams from Cork and the U.S. did presentations in the town square as well, using music, preaching, testimonies and drama to present the Gospel. There were many opportunities to share about Jesus in the streets and on the bus, and people turned to Christ as a result of God’s work downtown that week. Photos below. |
|
Each night the bus would park on Main St., where free coffee, tea, conversation, and literature were offered. |

At LCF, outreach to the surrounding community is one of the most important parts of our lives as believers. Certain nights are designated each month to share Christ on the streets through conversation, tract distribution, etc. Listed below are some of the recent outreach opportunities we have had. |
