YAG

(Young Adults Group)

From childhood we grow up into adolescence surrounded by the teaching of the Word of God- from crèche to Sunday school to youth group.
Often after youth there can be a gap. We can’t always relate to the older generation- too “mature”, or the younger generation - too “immature”
Yet this is one of the most important times of our lives, as we, as young adults seek to find our way in this world.

Jobs, college life, relationships, living alone, leadership etc. are becoming reality in our lives. In all of this we need direction, GOD’S direction and life.

As the YAG we seek to encourage and remind one another of what God has done for us in Christ and that all the answers are found in Him!

Hebrews 3:13; But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
                                                 
We first of all seek to come into the presence of God through worship, prayer, the sharing of testimony, and the preaching of the Gospel from the word of God.

Without Him we would not be able to stand in days like these.
We have great times of fellowship, where we freely discuss the word of God and real issues that affect us in our daily walk as a Christian (while, of course we drink a cup of tea or coffee!)

If you are a Young Adult….up to about thirtyish (young men and women), and want to receive or give some encouragement, you are welcome to meet with us.  Just contact the church office by phone or e-mail so we can give you some more info on where and when.
